Since being built in 1929, the iconic Surf Club in Surfside has become a legendary landmark of Miami Beach; visited by many of the world’s elites throughout the years. Fort Capital Management is preparing to take this gem back to all of its glory with a project positioned to develop two 12 story luxury residential towers and a Four Season Hotel and Resorts tower; incorporating the original private club and its famous “Peacock Alley “in the 8.7 acre oceanfront property.
The new complex will also include two restaurants, four swimming pools, private cabanas, a private 12,000 square foot health and wellness center with state-of-the-art fitness equipment and dedicated Yoga & Pilates studios; best of all, all of those amenities are just feet away from the beach. The development will also make use of the club’s two acres across the street to build a parking garage that will also feature new retail spaces.
One of the highlights of this project will be the 13 “Richard Meier Signature Penthouses” of which 5 will be two-stories and the remainder 8 will stretch over one story, all offering original features and extensive outdoor spaces. Buyers of these penthouses will have the opportunity to meet personally with Richard Meier for consultation of the design of their own units.
The penthouses will also feature many other luxury qualities such as private landscaped rooftop terraces customized with outdoor kitchens, swimming pool and rooftop cabanas, ocean-to-bay master suites with two master rooms and two dressing rooms, dedicated private beach cabanas and oversized chef’s kitchens with custom made cabinetries among many others.
It is no question that once finished; the Surf Club Hotel & Residences will be nothing short of its self-described “unique paradise filled with luxury amenities.”
